My name is Megan Ellisor, and I am not sure how I got so lucky. Let me explain: After graduating from NC State University in May 2016, I landed an internship working with Team USA in Colorado Springs during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. (If you know me, you'll know I love the Olympics.) Now I am back at my alma mater as a social media specialist — a role that allows me to pursue my love of writing, editing and storytelling while also acquiring new skills, from marketing to video production. Wherever I go from here, I'd like to keep storytelling and learning at the heart of it. In my free time, you can probably find me reading a David Sedaris book, baking a sweet treat or attempting to become more outdoorsy.
